The path there includes a people-powered mindset, effective recruiting and training, and attention to the social aspects of retention. Many successful organizations are reaping the rewards of empowering their volunteers to take on leadership roles. In this webinar Peter will review some case studies and share some simple tools to help you design a great volunteer program.

About Peter Gibbs

As co-director of Organize BC from 2015 to 2019, Peter Gibbs has had the opportunity to work with a broad range of progressive organizations and their campaigns to bring about positive change. Peter’s leadership in training, coaching and community building have had a significant impact on the organizational ecosystem in British Columbia. Organize BC has been recognized as a key player in organizational growth in Canada. In 2017 they were invited as teaching fellows to the Harvard Kennedy School.
