Call of the Heartwood: My Creative Journey with Trees

Join us for an evening where Lorraine Roy will present her textile art journey in words and pictures as she describes how trees wove their way into her art and her heart. This event will appeal to artists, environmentalists, gardeners, and anyone who exalts in the presence of trees. Lorraine will also present some works from her current touring exhibition, Woven Woods. A horticulturalist by training from University of Guelph, Lorraine has worked as a professional textile artist for just over thirty years. Visit her website at .
