Climate Change Movie Night: Beyond Crisis — screening & discussion

Sat Apr 27, 2019, Wakefield, QC

Green Screen presents: La Pêche Climate Change Movie Night

Doors open at 6:30, Film at 7:00

An evening event about climate action, co-hosted by the La Pêche Women's March Network and the Citizens Climate Lobby Ottawa/NCR.

Inspired by a 16-year old Swedish high school student, hundreds of thousands of young people around the globe are staging strikes to demand that their leaders finally tackle the growing climate crisis. And their voices are being heard. Join us -- young and old -- for an evening of film and discussion on how we can work in solidarity in La Pêche to help save our planet.

The event will include:
- a screening of the Canadian documentary "Beyond Crisis" (60 mins)
- a breakout discussion at tables
- refreshments, cash bar, photo booth
- practical advice on taking action!

We are looking forward to an inspiring evening and lively discussion with our La Pêche neighbours!

*This event is FREE! Please RSVP by registering on Eventbrite (link to free tickets below) to help us estimate numbers, but the event is first-come-first-served.*
