Firemaker Primitive/Earth-based skills gathering (July 7 - 13)

Sun Jul 7 to Sat Jul 13, 2019, Courtenay, BC

Firemaker Earth-based skills gathering EARLY BIRD registration runs March.1-31. Firemaker is a non-profit community event that is celebrating its 20th anniversary! It is one of the longest running primitive skills gatherings in Canada.

The gathering happens on Vancouver Island in the Comox valley, and for one week people camp out & create a village, where they learn, teach, practice and share earth based skills... Skilled and passionate instructors lead workshops... And through living in community on the land & focusing on earth based skills people experience deepened connection with themselves, each other, nature & the old ways... And awareness on another level is sparked, inspiring people to use the skills they've learned at firemaker to live simpler, more sustainable lives. Firemaker dates are July. 7 - 13, 2019.
