Growing Woody Plants, workshop at the Guelph Arboretum

Tue Sep 18, 2018, Guelph, ON

Diversity is the emphasis of this full-day course. Grow your own native trees and shrubs. Characteristic seeds for the workshop will be collected while touring part of The Arboretum. We will carry out the techniques for cleaning, treating and sowing seeds and how to protect them as seeds and young plants. A tour of The Arboretum's native plant nursery will help you set up your own project. Arboretum Horticulturist: Sean Fox. Early Bird Fee: $75.00. Registration deadline: Monday, September 10. Registrations after this date will cost $85.00. Note: If we don't have enough registrations by the early bird deadline the course may be cancelled. Maximum 16 adults
