KinPark Kid’s Camp: Join us for another fun-filled summer!

Cowichan Green Community is thrilled to bring back KinPark Kid’s Camp for a fifth summer! Located at Kinsmen Park in downtown Duncan, KinPark Kid’s Camp is an exciting and valuable way for children to spend their summer holidays in the Cowichan Valley. Our counselors plan a summer filled with diverse activities that focus on sustainability, the environment, teamwork, and physical fitness. Kids will learn how to grow, cook and eat fresh local food, explore nature, get to know plants and bees, do cool crafts, play in the park, go swimming, and make friends.

“Every summer we get the opportunity to meet some incredibly smart children with an array of skills and talents, who also become quite the gardeners,” states Alyssa Loucks, one of KinPark’s camp counselors. “Our campers also use their skills to create yummy recipes in the kitchen, like green tomato pies, zucchini muffins, and even can their own pickles!”

This green-themed day camp for children aged 6-12 is located at Kinsmen Park (5789 Alderlea Street) and Cowichan Green Community’s kitchen at 360 Duncan Street, in downtown Duncan. Camp runs from July 3rd to August 31st, at the affordable rate of $150 per week (with the exception of the short weeks following Canada Day and August long weekends respectively, which cost only $120).
