Net-Zero Neighbourhoods: Community Energy Planning for a Low Carbon Future

Fernando Carou, Senior Engineer at City of Toronto - Environment & Energy Division, will talk about Community Energy Planning, which amounts to a neighbourhood scale climate change action plan.

He will lead the discussion on the importance of a strategic approach: conservation, high-efficiency performance including passive design and local sources of renewable low-carbon thermal energy sources to displace fossil fuel use.
