The day long activities will include Remarks at 11am by Mayor Jim Watson, Honourable Yasir Naqvi and Councillor David Chernushenko. There will be additional speakers on green energy topics throughout the day.

Green Energy Doors Open (GEDO) is a province-wide FREE showcase of individual, community, and commercial sustainable energy projects. It is organized and spearheaded by the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA). The initiative aims to showcase advancements in the sector, demonstrating that Canada is already on the path to building a 100% clean and sustainable energy system.

The Ottawa Region is bringing together a strong community of green supporters for this event and has many planned activities. The Ottawa Region GEDO activities are being organized by SMARTNet Alliance. Visit the event website for full details:
