UBC Botanical Garden’s Earth Day Tea and Tours — April 22, 2017
11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Celebrate Earth Day at UBC Botanical Garden with hourly tours of our world-renowned maple tree collection and tea tasting!

To commemorate Earth Day 2017, the Garden is offering programming that allows Canadians to explore the outdoors and increase their engagement with environmental conservation. Visitors will enjoy free hourly tours with paid Garden admission, during which they will be able to discover the Garden’s collection of trees (including Maples, Canada’s national tree), taste teas collected from the Garden (including mint, fireweed, and birch), and learn about Grow Green, a new online garden guide to eco-friendly lawns and gardens in Metro Vancouver. Visitors can also catch a sneak peek of the Garden’s new educational signs.
