Living Permaculture Series

Create a natural, thriving ecosystem and tranquil oasis in your own backyard.

This series includes a Permaculture lecture and tour of a living permaculture system, including bioshelter technology, pump-less ponds, 2 in one fruit tree, recycling techniques and edible food forestry in a small urban environment.

For the beginner or seasoned gardener, learn simple techniques to increase your site productivity with companion planting and biomimicry. We will delve into lasagna/no dig gardening saving you time weeding/watering and freeing you time to enjoy the garden. Touching upon vertical and container gardening you will be equipped to grow regardless of the size of your site and see more opportunity to incorporate edibles.

Ending with a discussion and tour of the Forest Heights Food Forest.
