Seeing Human and Climate Trauma as One, with Sheila Watt-Cloutier

Fri May 5, 2017, Ottawa, ON

The University of Ottawa will welcome environmental, cultural and human rights advocate, Sheila Watt-Cloutier to speak on the topic "Seeing Human and Climate Trauma as One".

Her book “The Right to Be Cold” is one of five books vying to be crowned “the one book Canadians need now” in CBC Radio’s 2017
Canada Reads competition.

“Climate change is about people as much as it is about the earth,” she writes, “and the science, economics and politics of our changing environment must always have a human face.”
