Learn to Construct Low Impact Development (LID)

Tue Mar 28, 2017, Newmarket, ON

Location: Ray Twinney Recreation Complex – 100 Eagle St W,
Instructors: Steve Auger, Kyle Vander Linden

Course Description

Traditional stormwater management methods are expensive to build and maintain. That’s why municipalities and developers are shifting to Low Impact Development (LID) techniques to better manage stormwater runoff on site.

Constructing LIDs require different methods and specifications than traditional techniques. When these are followed, LIDs greatly reduce long-term maintenance and repair costs.

In this workshop, local conservation authorities will share technical expertise and experience to help you learn how to construct LIDs effectively.
