Sat May 6 to Sun Nov 5, 2017, London, ON

Practical Herbalism - Forest Gardening

Garden Soil, Medicine-Making to Herbal Applications

May to Nov. 2017
A 3-Season
140-Hour Mentorship Program

This program is committed to the future of herbal medicine by educating and inspiring tomorrow's herbalists, forest gardeners, permaculturists and ecologists. It offers a rigorous and intensive immersion into the cultivation and use of medicinal plants. Discover how a genuine working relationship with Earth is the cornerstone for enduring personal, community and ecological health and happiness. Learn how to achieve the same benefits that natural systems demonstrate: stability, resilience, self-maintenance, self-renewal and increased nutrient conservation at personal and ecological levels.

Through the ecological study and practice of herbalism and forest gardening we return to a place of honouring our relationship and connection to Nature, of sacred partnership with the living planet and reinventing whole connected thriving ecosystems that sustain and regenerate all life.

"The ultimate goal of both herbalism and forest gardening is not only the production of crops, but also the cultivation and perfection of new ways of seeing, of thinking, and acting in the world. "
